UK Biobank GWAS reveals rare variants linked to metabolic diseases

Exciting times for the field of Individualized Signalling Biology (ISB). Genetic changes unique to hundreds and thousands of individuals of diverse ethnicity linked to thousands of disease-related traits is made publicly available by the United Kingdom Biobank Genome wide Association Studies (UKBB GWAS).

Figures below are plotted on GWAS data which filtered out proteins that do not contain a transmembrane segments. In other words, plotting for membrane proteins that are significantly associated with disease-related traits.
